Pallavi
Born in Mumbai and based in Singapore, Pallavi is a visual artist whose work is rooted in drawing, print-making, and collage; and built of rhythm, ritual, and repetition. She holds an BFA from Parsons, The New School for Design. In summer 2023, she became Maison Pan’s first artist-in-residence in Beirut.

Yazan Halwani
Born in post-war Beirut, where a lack of public spaces and art infrastructure (e.g. museums, galleries) made art highly inaccessible, Yazan found himself drawn to working in graffiti. Today he is known for his public art, which also includes sculpture. His murals can be found on buildings across the city and often depict important Lebanese and Middle Eastern figures.

Grégoire d'Ablon
Grégoire is a French artist living and working in Arles. Initially studying to become an agronomy engineer, he later joined the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, graduating in 2019. His practice, which includes curating, is focused on the processes by which societies organise and channel reality, including research into eugenics.

Gabriel Ferneini
A self-taught photographer based in Beirut, Gabriel’s work questions systemic and self-imposed borders (e.g. nationality, gender, class) and the role of images in constructing or dismantling them. He holds an MA in Political Science and International Relations.

Batoul Faour
Batoul is an artist and architect working at the intersection of writing, drawing, and moving image. She holds a BArch from the American University of Beirut, where she has also taught, and a masters degree from the University of Toronto.

Chedly Atallah
A resident we hosted in partnership with the French Institute in Lebanon, Chedly is an artist, architect, and scenographer based in Paris and Tunis. Working in video, installation, and sculpture, his work relates to the ongoing realities of war and uprising in Libya, Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon.

Nayla Chidiac
One of our ‘70/74 Arles’ residents in the South of France, Nayla is a French-Lebanese clinical psychologist, poet and author of literary texts exploring memory, language, loss, and reconstruction. Based in Paris and known internationally for her pioneering work on trauma, in 2017 she was awarded the most prestigious French national order of merit: Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.

Su Müstecaplıoğlu
One of our ‘70/74 Arles’ residents in the South of France, Su is a New York-based fashion photographer. Alongside a successful commercial career, she has an artistic practice in which she creates temporary sculptures and photographs them before they disappear or get altered. Her debut book CHROMA was launched with an exhibition at Maison Pan London in 2025.

Pierre-Antoine Lalande
One of our ‘70/74 Arles’ residents in the South of France, Pierre-Antoine is an independent curator and critic based in Montreuil. He has held positions at institutions including KADIST, the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, and Fondation Giacometti. He has curated exhibitions and authored texts in collaboration with venues such as the artist-run space Julio, Galerie Sultana and Chapelle XIV in Paris. He is part of the curatorial team of Fotofestival Lenzburg and oversees the Art-o-rama Showroom as part of the Prix Région Sud Art.
